Brian Keim

Vice President/Branch Manager/Loan Officer

NMLS# 413322

Vice President Brian Keim is a familiar face when visiting our Ste Genevieve location. After all, he’s been with us for 11 years now. Brian has advanced in positions from Assistant Vice President to Vice President/Branch Manager (with Jerry Bergtholdt’s move to presidency).

Brian and his wife Becky are local to Ste. Genevieve. They are dedicated parents to their wonderful son, age 4. Outside of work, they enjoy spending their time with family and friends, golfing, and traveling.

Brian is a 2008 graduate of Southern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

He originally joined us in 2008 and worked as a Loan Officer until 2012.  A few years later he joined us again in 2017 as Assistant Vice President and has been devoted to us the last 7 years.

When asked what sets Bloomsdale Bank apart from competitors, Brian responded, “Bloomsdale Bank is the epitome of ‘Community Banking’.  We take a personal interest in our relationships with our customers – which, in turn, helps us better serve their financial needs.”

Brian Keim’s dedication to Ste. Genevieve County shows in all his community involvement.

He was elected Mayor of the City of Ste. Genevieve in 2023. Currently, he is also an active Rotarian, Vice President of the Community Center Foundation Board, Vice President of the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club Board of Directors, Treasurer of the Ste. Genevieve Oktoberfest Committee, and Graduate of Leadership Ste. Gen Program.  Formerly, he was on the Board of Directors for the University of Missouri Extension Council and Ste. Genevieve Chamber of Commerce. He has also previously served as President of the Rotary Club.

Brian Keim proves every day he’s a proud member of Ste. Genevieve County and our surrounding communities. We appreciate his continued dedication to everything that makes us a community-oriented bank.

With Brians move into Vice President he’s made the strategic move to add two new loan officers: Assistant Vice President Veronica Santacruz and Loan Officer CJ Okenfuss.

Veronica Santacruz

Assistant Vice President/Loan Officer

NMLS# 678988

Veronica Santacruz is a new addition to our Ste. Genevieve team as Assistant Vice President/Loan Officer. We are excited to see the skills and experience she brings to the table.

Veronica is a graduate of Mineral Area College with an AA in Business Management. She has also continued her education with the American Banking Association. With 20 years of experience in banking, she started her career in 2004 as a teller and gradually progressed to become a Loan Officer. She has worked with numerous clients throughout her career, assisting them with opening their first savings account or buying their first home.

Apart from her professional career, Veronica is also actively involved in the community. She is an active member of the Rotary Club in St. Francois County and leads a women’s leadership group that helps them grow in every aspect of life, from personal to career. She is also a member of the leadership team of the Farmington Regional Chamber.

When we asked Veronica why she chose Bloomsdale Bank, she expressed, “Bloomsdale Bank feels like home. I could not be prouder to be part of a bank that truly cares about its community.”

As a local bank, we appreciate employees who treat our customers like friends and family.

In addition to being an outstanding professional, Veronica is also a dedicated mother. Her life stays busy with raising three kids and two dogs. As a family, they all enjoy going hiking, bike riding, and camping as much as possible.

CJ Blur

CJ Okenfuss

Loan Officer

NMLS# 2573372

We welcome our newest Loan Officer, CJ Okenfuss to our team. CJ is born and raised in Ste. Genevieve County.

CJ is a Valle Catholic High school graduate, class of 1999. He continued his studies at Jefferson College learning computer tech.

His previous career path started almost 20 years ago in St. Louis at an entry sales position. With hard work and dedication, He was able to become Sales Manager and GM of their Reno NV location where he lived for several years before stepping back, so he could move back home to Ste. Genevieve to be with family.

Upon moving back, he started looking for ways to get more involved in the community. He joined the Ambulance District as a member of the Board of Directors. You can also find him helping with Scooter Burger fund raisers, working at the Ste. Genevieve Farmers Market on summer Saturday mornings, or saying hello with a smile as you walk into Audubon’s for dinner on the weekends.

CJ and his wife, Micah, live in town and have three amazing children, with the younger two still attending Ste. Genevieve High School.

CJ utilizes his free time hiking, riding scooters/e-bikes, gardening, and listening to live music. He’s also a member of the Ste. Genevieve Bourbon Society.

He will tell you his first real interaction with Bloomsdale Bank was when Micah and he had the opportunity to buy the building which Micah’s barber shop, The Clip Joint, is in. He says the loan process was easy as Brian walked them through the whole process. Setting up personal accounts and moving forward together in other financial areas came naturally with the relationship his family had built with Bloomsdale Bank. With the familiarity and comfortability, they experienced, he was excited to accept this position and have another great opportunity to serve our community as a Loan Officer.

We’re excited to be able to bring CJ’s expertise to our community and work with our customers to achieve future goals and dreams together.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our Ste. Genevieve team’s changes and new additions. We believe Veronica and CJ embody our core values and look forward to their continued involvement. If you’d like to utilize any of these loan officers’ expertise call Ste. Genevie Branch at (573)883-995.

Along with Bloomsdale Bank celebrating 110 years we also celebrate Ste. Genevieve Branch turning 20 this year!

We’re a local bank where customers are always a priority.
